"Big Rain" by Neumaria (modern folk artist from Adelaide, Australia)

"Big Rain" is an impressive modern folk rock CD from Neumaria. We loved the assimilation of a beautiful woman in "She's a Scarecrow". Vocalist Cindy MacDonald performs majestically on this entire CD. The title cut "Big Rain" gives way to a smooth blend musically, lyrically, and vocally. This talented group of musicians hails from Adelaide Australia, and they have captured musically what we all strive for in closeness of friendship. Thought-provoking "Universal Hymn", our favorite track, is inwardly reflective, peaceful and contemporary, worldly, and retrospect, and will have you asking questions about your motives and seeking those answers from above. This CD teaches us that "Waiting" is worth the outcome of any good plan. But wait no longer: Pick up a copy of "Big Rain" today!

"Songs from the 3rd Floor" by John Mizzoni (Folk artist from Pennsylvania)

"Songs From The 3rd Floor" contains a full 15 songs from John Mizzoni, who's been around long enough to know what the listeners want to hear. He brings a style to his folk that certainly can accommodate most easy-listening, folk audiences. He should know what folks want to hear, as an Associate Professor of Philosophy ( Neumann College , Aston, PA). His soothing "Instrumental in G" and lively "Keyboard C Strings Instrumental" both contain wonderful soul-searching musical moments that capture a flow of the music to come. John seems like a modern-day John of the 1960's - Lennon, with slight accent and certainly quality. John picks up the pace with "We Don't Need Cash", lively and right on the money! Our favorite "Somewhere in Between" rises above the nature of time and gives a fresh new perspective . This CD captures the best of experimental instrumental fusion and soulful, thought-provoking lyrics. If you wish to relax and enjoy all 15 selections, this is the CD for you! Pick up a copy today.

"These Two Hands" by Julia Kelly (folk artist from Sharpsburg, Georgia)

"These Two Hands" by Julia Kelly is a soothing, relaxing collection of acoustic/folk songs. Each track on this album exudes an enormous amount of passionate feeling and sincerity. Furthermore, unlike most albums, "These Two Hands" delivers a very powerful, uplifting message. Filled with encouraging anthems of mother-like advice and reflections, this record is crafted with great lyrical precision. Moreover, the vocals are a strong point on this collection, and the tight harmonies like in "If These Walls Could Talk" accentuate Julia's attention-grabbing voice. Production wise, this album stands out above many others. Overall, Julia's "These Two Hands" is a positive collection of songs that will speak volumes to those who enjoy music with passion and honesty.
